Fast Break Basketball is going all-in for East Brunswick youth basketball with a Casino Night fundraiser packed with games, food, and prizes. The event will be held Saturday, October 10, from 6 to 10 p.m. at the East Brunswick Elks Lodge. Admission is $60 per person and includes $50 in “Fast Break Bucks” to get you in the game and started at the casino tables. That gives it a little personality without getting cheesy.
Casino Games, Dinner and Prizes
The evening will include casino-style games, prize baskets valued at more than $100 each, a 50/50 raffle, and a cash bar.
Bonesse’s Tomato Apizza will cater dinner, with desserts from Cinnaholic and Paris Baguette.
All proceeds from the event will support Fast Break Basketball’s youth programs in East Brunswick.
Supporting East Brunswick Youth Basketball
Fast Break Basketball has been part of the community for decades. According to the organization, it began with just 20 second-grade children in the fall of 1996 and has grown to serve more than 800 children.
The 100% volunteer-based organization offers programs ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade, including coed and girls divisions, travel basketball and Buddy Ball/PALS.
Fast Break says its programs are designed not only to teach basketball fundamentals, but also to promote sportsmanship, hard work, respect for teammates and coaches, and confidence.
The organization also credits parents and adult volunteers with making its programs possible.
